Watch your words - They have Power to impact your daily life

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

Proverbs 18:21King James Version (KJV)

Our words are extremely powerful. The Bible states that life and death are in the tongue, and I believe that many times what we experience on a day to day basis is influenced by the words we release into the universe.

The man who starts his day speaking only positive over his life usually has a much better experience, than the one who can barely lift himself out of bed, and mutters that its going to be another long day.

I start my day with these words;

       I AM

I am AMAZING
I am BRILLIANT
I am STRONG
I am GREAT

What is your affirmation? Tell me in the comments. If you don't have one, you can us the words from "I AM" courtesy of the poet Rowen Antoine.

As you go into this work week, I encourage you to speak life, speak power, and watch the amazing impact that it will have on you and others who you interact with on a daily basis.

See you at the Top!

Three benefits of keeping a journal as an entrepreneur.

“Write what should not be forgotten.”  - Isabel Allende

September 2, 2016
This semester I will be required to keep a journal of all the steps that my partners and myself will take towards developing our business idea.
Here are three reasons why it is important for entrepreneurs to keep a journal;

The Lion who lost his roar (and how he got it to return)

There once was a great and powerful Lion, called Hoz. Hoz ruled over one of the largest jungles in all of Africa, and had a very big Pride to match. Every morning Hoz would rise and go to the edge of the jungle. He would look upon the vastness of his domain, and nod his head as if to say he was well pleased. Hoz would then raise his chin ever so gracefully in the air and then release, A Great Big Roar! It woke the trees, warned off poachers, and reminded his animal subjects that he was still their king. After, Hoz would take one last look at his kingdom, give a proud smile and then turn and walk slowly and confidently back to his Pride.
